About Us

Rogers Plumbing and Heating is a company that prides itself on customer satisfaction and has ever since its birth in 1974. Roger began his plumbing career in 1962 working part time along with his father, Harold in the plumbing and heating business. In 1966 he began his 5 year apprenticeship and in 1971 received his journeyman qualifications. Roger continued his studies in the plumbing and heating trade and in 1974 obtained his master designation. That same year he started his company and even to-day, almost 50 years later is still extremely active learning and discovering and along with other members of his company is incorporating new technologies on a constant basis in an effort to improve his company’s offering to the consumer. In 1979, Janet Crawford joined the company and for the past 32 years has been the office administrator and really is the face of the company. In 2000, Seth Crawford, Roger’s son joined the company and after completing his 5 year apprenticeship and accepting other responsibilities over time, is now the general manager of the company and certainly is directly responsible for the implementation of new technologies appropriate to the operation of the company. He represents the third generation in the business operation. The year 2006 saw the addition of Dan Regan to the staff as a combustion technician responsible for oil, gas and propane installations and service. In addition to those responsibilities Dan has also chosen to enhance his experience by taking on 5 year apprenticeship in the plumbing trade and is scheduled for his journeyman designation in 2013. Over the years there are many others who have benefitted from the training offered by the company and learned skills which will enhance their future endeavours. We are proud of the part our company has played in their lives. We are very excited to be doing a complete hydronic conversion. We are removing a mid-efficiency furnace and tank style rental water heater and replacing them with a combination boiler/tankless water heater. Roger started installing Goulds Pump products in 1981. He immediately identified it as a brand he was willing to put his name on. That has carried on as Goulds is still our pump of choice to install in almost any application. Goulds builds a strong, reliable product that we can install with confidence.

Roger also began installing Viessmann heating products in 1981. Viessmann is a Boiler manufacturer based in Germany that manufacture complete boiler system solutions. As far as we are concerned they manufacture the highest quality boilers in the world with industry leading technology making them the right boiler for any application.

We started installing Biasi boilers as of last year and we as well as our customers are very pleased with their product. They are a small Italian company who make a high quality product. We have installed their Wall Hung Condensing boilers as well as the Wall Hung Condensing Combo boilers.

Over the past few years, green plumbing has gained popularity thanks to conscious consumers and plumbers.There are things you can do to bring green plumbing into your home.Do you worry about the amount of water you use on a daily basis?Do you feel your water bill is too high?Anybody who is interested in bringing green plumbing into their home can do so by following these conversation tips:1. Install low flow shower heads to cut back on the amount of water that is used while showering.These particular shower heads are called energy efficient shower heads because they also decrease energy consumption due to less water needing heated.2. Install low flow toilets.Low flow toilets use less water per flush than a more traditional setup. In fact, these toilets use roughly 1.6 gallons of water per flush whereas “older models” use as much as 3.6 gallons. As you can see, installing a low flow toilet can save thousands of gallons of water per year, per household. 3. Install faucet aerators.Generally speaking, an aerator breaks down the flow of water into small drops. This allows you to use less water while still maintaining effectiveness in washing your hands, etc. Are you surprised at how easy it can be to bring green plumbing into your home? You may be shying away from the above options because you don’t want to pay a plumber to install the proper equipment. But remember, when you add low flow shower heads and toilets, as well as faucet aerators, you are saving a lot of water. And when you save, your monthly water bill is going to be lower than ever before!
